Iliana – enthusiasm & attitude; practising at home to increase sight recognition of phase 4 words.

Connor – Wrote dinosaur poem using rhyming couplets.

Florence – Courteous, caring & considerate; thinks of others & makes sure they are ok.

Dolphins

Ania – good expression when characters speak and answering questions about the story.

Ted – writing a non-chronological report about a sand unicorn and using superlatives such as `biggest` and `strongest`.

Lily – always being polite and well-behaved

Turtles

Caragh – shown such enthusiasm for reading and has been using a favourite book of hers as a stimulus for writing her own stories and booklets.

Jessica – wrote a good persuasive letter to the Prime minister for the `Send My Friend to School` campaign

Christopher – for being a good role model and enthusiastic member of the class, but especially for looking out for a friend this week who was having difficulties.

Penguins

Lewis –  was able to summarise what he had read to show his understanding and answer questions.

Aidan – Using what he has learnt in science to influence his narrative writing.

Joshua – Offering to help Samantha during bikeability.
